Michael Coon
Mr. Coon has spent over twenty-five years in accounting and business
systems development. Upon graduation from California State University,
Fullerton in 1974 with a Bachelors degree in Economics, he immediately
put his education to work and spent four years with a regional car rental
firm in Los Angeles. He designed and implemented the company’s
conversion from a manual accounting and record keeping system to a
fully automated system. For the next eleven years, he served as the
managing partner for Advanced Business Consulting, a hospitality
consulting firm in Southern California. Mr. Coon moved to Las Vegas in
1994 where he joined Visions Business Services. He was responsible for
the analysis of the client’s IT and point of sale system needs.
Relying on his prior analysis expertise, Michael was brought to Ameristar
Casino at Cactus Pete’s Hotel and Casino in Jackpot, Nevada where he
held the position of Gaming and Marketing Analyst. Utilizing his advanced
math and computer skills, he was able to improve the slot analysis
reporting and provide management with timelier reporting. While at
Cactus Petes, he attended University of Nevada, Reno and received a
Professional Certificate in Gaming Management (with Honors).
Mr. Coon has an extensive knowledge of accounting, financial reporting,
and productivity analysis. Utilizing his advanced computer skill, he has
developed many analysis tools based upon data extraction from various
accounting, gaming, and point of sales systems. He has worked with
many of the top hospitality and gaming systems including:

Sonia Sworak
Goliath Gaming is proud to introduce Ms. Sonia Sworak, consultant,
business communications and research. Ms. Sworak has been
responsible for the corporate restructuring of publicly traded companies
and the privatization of government in both Canada and the United States
since 1987, primarily in technology, real estate and healthcare. The
largest of these, Commonwealth Equity Trust, was a family of Real Estate
Investment Trusts (REIT’s) with revenues in excess of $ 500 M and 700
employees. The property mix included hotel, resort, retail, residential
development, and apartments. In cooperation with various specialists,
the result was a restructuring of $ 76 M in secured debt and $ 23 M in
unsecured debt. Ms. Sworak’s company, S², operates from Delray
Beach, Florida.
